ITSO Board of Directors names Chair and Chair-Elect for 2026

The ITSO Board of Directors is pleased to announce that as of their AGM held Wednesday November 26^th, 2025, that Nicole Pohl will move into the role of Chair, while Chris Hoage will be joining the ITSO executive as Chair-Elect for 2026. The ITSO Board of Directors and Staff extend their sincere thanks to Geoff Halford, who has held the position of ITSO Chair since 2024.

Nicole has been a real estate professional since 2006, and brings experience, leadership, and industry advocacy to her work every day. Nicole served as President of the former Kitchener-Waterloo Association of REALTORS® (now part of the Cornerstone Association of REALTORS®) in 2021 and was involved in several committees including technology and finance, which helped shape and enhance the member services. Nicole has been an active board member and finance committee member with ITSO since 2023, where she has offered insight and leadership during a period of meaningful industry transformation, change, and uncertainty. As she steps into the role of Chair of the ITSO Board of Directors, she remains committed to elevating professionalism, enhancing systems and services, and advancing collaboration across Ontario’s real estate landscape.

Chris was licensed as a REALTOR® in 2007 and was looking for ways to be involved in his community as a volunteer. Outside of real estate, he joined the Rotary Club shortly after becoming licensed. After several years in the industry, Chris became a Board member with the Brantford Regional Real Estate Association (BRREA) in 2021 and 2024 and acted as Chair of the BRREA Member Engagement Committee in 2021 and 2022. Chris has been an ITSO Board member previously in 2021 and was welcomed back in 2024. He enthusiastically joined the ITSO PSC and Finance committees and chaired the ITSO Forms Task Force. Chris is eager to be involved and is always happy to chat with fellow REALTORS® about what is happening in the industry and how ITSO can help. Chris is looking forward to a busy, innovative, and exciting year with ITSO as Chair-Elect.

There were three Director positions up for election as part of this year’s AGM all of whom were acclaimed. Welcome and congratulations to the Directors for 2026 Geoff Halford, Pamela White, and David Zalepa.
